I just went to my dermatologist today to inquire about Accutane. My boyfriend had severe acne when he was younger and took Accutane and it cleared up completely. However, when I got to my dermatologist, they informed me that women are not candidates for Accutane. My derm looked at my back and said it was not acne, but KP. I have never heard of such a thing. Quite frankly it scares me. No cure? Would you consider it worse than acne?? My boyfriend is so understanding and doesn't care...but I do. I always thought it was acne and I was embarrassed to wear clothes that showed off my back. Now I'm told it's KP and I am at a loss. He gave me creams and lotions and cleansers and moisturizers..... so much!!
So.... I guess like anyone else, I want to know if there's a chance that any of this will work. Here is a list of things he gave me:

- Salex lotion and cream
- Nuox acne gel
- Atralin
- Tazorac to use at night
- Zoderm hydrating wash
- Benzaclin
- CeraVe moisturizer and cleanser
- Cetaphil cleanser

Just trying to figure out which order to use them in freaks me out!!! Of course some are for my face, some for my back....I just wish there was a simpler way. Any suggestions? Advice??
