Wink hi i'm new to this kp.

I just found out on march 25th what i had for the past 15yrs was called kp. I had some friends and family members that had these bumps but theirs went a way as they got older. So i thought it would go away as i got older. But after having my first son it seemed like i found it in other places like my legs. I have read around and found this Eucerin Therapy Plus Intensive Repair Cream. It sound like it would work but i'm not sure. so if any one that has used this and it did work how long did it take til u saw a differnts. Please let me know. I am having a nother baby and i know this summer is going to suck and i would love to for once were a t-shirt or tank top with out thinking people are looking at my arms.
Thanks to all that will read this.

Me too! After having my baby girl I developed bumps in the sides of my body (under arm pits to the ribs). It is very-very mild, but I can feel it.

I'm treating it effectively with mechanical exfoliation (scrubs) every day when I shower.

Sometimes, maybe once a week I scrub with St. Ives Scrub with Salicilic Acid.

Then you should moisturize always with a lotion, you can use that Eucerin cream.

I suggest you try it and tell us your progress.

You can try oil pulling too. It is easy and have lots of benefits.

Re: hi i'm new to this kp.

I have also found that after I had my baby the KP spread to other parts of my body. I wish that there was one sure fire cure for this, I have never worn a tank top and haven't worn shorts in years! I also have heard about Eucerin working. I'm going to get some soon, and will let you know how it worked for me. Sunlight seems to help too.

Another thing that helped, and it's going to sound gross, was bananas. I got a banana and rubbed the peel on my skin (then took a shower of course). You can also use the banana itself, just mash it up and add a little warm olive oil and use like a mask. It made my skin really smooth. Bananas are moisturizing and have folic acid in them. They can also help those nasty blackheads too because folic acid shrinks the size of you pores.

Congratz on your soon-to-be addition to your family!!

Don't tell me that, I have a banana tree in my backyard!

Yesterday, I took some out, they are green, but they are used like that in tostones, mmm.

When they are rippened I can used them as a mask...

Re: hi i'm new to this kp.

I wish I had a banana tree in my back yard. It must be nice to live in somewhere where bananas grow!!! I'm going to experiment with many different things now I know what causes my horrible skin. I haven't tried essential oils or herbs yet, but they are next on my list. I'll let you know what works!!

I have bananas trees, too. I read that the inside of the peel is used to remove warts, though I haven't tried it.
