i found this site a while back, searching on what was wrong with my skin and a cure. I have learned that there isnt really a cure but there are some things that help clear it up for people. Its mostly just on my upper arms... but its super embarssing.

as a newbie trying out differnt things, what are some of the most common things that do work for people i know everything doesnt work for everyone.. but just starting out.. my skin is more dry if i put lotion on my face i break out so i only use water/rubbing alchoal on occasion... and i used to rub it on my arms, and it would clear up.. but if i put lotion on my arms where i have the KP it seems to flare up more??? so its kind of confusing LOL

anyway any help that you can give id be happy to try and take it

Welcome to the KP Forum.

Here are a few things you can try:

exfoliation
sugar or salt scrubs
omega 3 supplements daily
a very good diet and lots of water daily
mild exercise
oil pulling

You will notice that I favor natural remedies and products. I know others here use chemical or pharmaceutical products also. If you do and have something that could help, please post a suggestion for Alisha.

What lotion are you using?

Maybe it has comedogenic ingredients (clog pores)...
