has this ever happened?

ok i wake up and seem to notice that my thighs look normal (they are NOT!). i found this very odd. i wish my legs looked clear like that all day! its when i start to walk that they start to get all red everywhere and see the bumps more clearly...

has this everhappened to you?

or when you go swimming and the clorine seemed to have made a dissapearing trick to your skin? awsome.. but they come back... veryy very upseting. tease me why dont you... lol.

ive had this all my life and made me sick to my stomach to know that there is no cure...
im married now and im still skiddish when it come to my husband touching me... ihave it on my legs(front and back) my thighs (frontback and side-side) some on my stomach of course the arms, my buttocks, and the lower part of my cheek. my breast not so much but just a little. but any women out there have it EVERYWHERE like me...

i know all you ladys have it but it seem like im the only one in my city.. since i live in a randy nieghborhood where the girls flaunt there legs and arms and its summer everyday...

just a little rant... sorry. but suffering here. and my insecurities are eating me up and not helping me and my husband in bed...

This happens to me. I don't have so much of a problem with bumps anymore, just with the redness. Each hair follicle looks inflamed but in the morning before I get out of bed my skin has a really even skin tone.
I think it may have something to do with blood circulation to the skin. Either we're having too much or too little.
I know that the warmer I am and the more i've been in the sun the better it looks as well.

yes, this has happened to me also...my skin looks different throughout the day...unfortunately, my skin looks terrible under flourescent lighting which is all there is where i work...it makes me soooo self conscious....the redness bothers me the most i think - i look spotted all over

Re: has this ever happened?

I noticed my kp doesn't look bad in the mornings, I agree with what EnviroGirl said, it probably has something to do with blood circulation. My kp isn't as bad as other people's though...but it's still annoying.

It is possible that body temperature also has a part in this. Our temperature can fluctuate throughout the day. I feel quite warm when I first wake up, and can feel my temperature cooling slightly as I lay awake in bed. With activities, our temps. can rise. Even a slight increase or decrease may affect our skin. Just my thoughts on this...

Re: has this ever happened?

This is something I would never have posted about because I thought I was crazy - but yes, my skin seems different when I first wake up. For me, it's just if I feel the skin on my arms right when I wake up, it feels almost normal. So weird. Thanks for asking about this.
