my derm. told me to use amlactin 12% moisturing lotion. has any one used this? does it work or help? and she gave me a cream for special occasions that reduses the redness.

Not sure if that is the same one my derm gave me some years ago, if it is, I know it worked but after a while it didn't seem to make any difference. I would be interested to know if you have any success with the cream for special occasions in reducing redness - I have tried using fake tan but it just makes darker blotchy patches in the worst kp areas (especially top/outside of my calfs). I never had kp that far down, just on thighs but it has spread further down and makes it very hard to even wear skirts!
