Tonight is the first time I had a name for the condition I have experienced since my teens. My mum & her sister have it so I have always assumed it is something I have to live with. Although I am a Medical Doctor I had never heard the term Keratosis Pilaris until tonight.

Sure, I have felt self concious about wearing short sleeved tops, let alone backless dresses. not to metion my well meaning colleagues asking what my "rash" on my arm is.....

But you know what.....
It doesn't give me any pain.
it doesn't shorten my life.
I am a gorgeous woman, loved by my partner and my friends.

KP is nothing.
I am living my life today exactly the same as I did yesterday (when my rash didn't have a name).

I don't care about KP.......

because I have a life to live and much, much bigger fish to fry!

U go girl! Thats how I feel too. I mean.. I do still have to to stomach the fact that they are still there but it doesnt make me lose any sleep!! If there's something out there to help it im all game but if I never find anything I can live with that as well!! Great Attitude
