new to the group!
Hey everyone! I just found this group, and I have to say that I am so glad to have found it. I am in college now and have had kp for most of my teenage years. Lately, I have become so frustrated with different products and have just about given up on treating it. However, after reading some of the posts, it seems that some of you all have had some success. I have moderate kp just on my arms, but have not yet found anything to get rid of the redness and bumps. Is there any particular products you would or would not recommend to try? I am definitely open for suggestions! Thanks and best of luck to all you all!

Well like you I am also relatively new to this whole kp thing, so I'm not going to say anything about meds or home remedies... but I have moderate kp on my arms and legs too and I have found a great way to get rid of some of the redness and visibility of the bumps... I use a natural looking sunless-tanning lotion ( the new neutrogena is my fav.) and then use some spray on foundation over the kp patches and smooth it in with just my hands (if you use make-up sponges it soaks up the foundation and gives you no result). And last for all the women out there putting a little shimmer on your skin never hurts (shimmer me sexy by victorias secret). Make sure to let the foundation dry before you put on your shirt. I know this isn't a permanent solution and I am down about the fact that my kp may not go away but I have come to peace with that... So after saying that I hope this helps someone who is sick of wearing long sleeves
