Baby oil bad?
I have KP a bit on my legs, and whenever I shave my legs they seem to get worse. I know the shaving cream has baby oil in it, could this be the cause?

Maybe you're allergic to baby oil? I know that's the case for me. I don't remember ever putting baby oil on my kp but I did put some on my legs and I ended up developing a rash. I've stayed away from baby oil since then.

Yeah as the person above me said, baby oils cannot be attributed to be the cause of problems as they have been used as an age old practice and there hasnt been any incidences of a person being devloping the KP. So in the most obvious reasons the problem lies elsewhere. I think you will do better to look for some relevant drugs from the online pharmacy to rectify this.

I get the same problem. When i shave my legs it irritates the bump and they become more red and angry looking.
Try using talcenpowder (sorry cant spell that) when you shave, It doesnt affect my kp like shabving cream dose. Also ive just started using 100% virgin coconut oil, this is supposed to help with kp alot so ive heard, so why not try some? |

I always break out in a rash and hives after using baby oil. It's all of the fragrances I believe since I can't use a lot of things with a lot of these added fragrances.

For shaving i use body wash the olay kind. I fill the sink with water n body wash. I get my legs wet n then shave. Afterwards my legs r really smooth n i don't get razor burn anymore.
