After reading some of the suggestions here, I tried a soap with salicylic acid and coconut oil. I have to say that there's no sign of improvement in my butt area

My butt's so smooth! I haven't had anything new pop on it for about a month now!

I just wanted to add that this success is still going strong! I am very happy with this stuff!

i get so embarrassed when my husband wants to touch me there. were married and i still dont let him look at my butt! i have scars and those darn bumps.. i dont even pick at my butt... and they get worse. i take baths all teh time...the only time he looks at my butt is when i have my "good days" and i slighty cover them a little... which is still not good.

Yes, I have it pretty bad on my butt...it is very embarrassing. Luckily none of my boyfriends really said anything about it, but I still feel very self-conscious

KP doesn't physically hurt. i had it on my butt, thighs and backs of my arms before I sought treatment and succeeded...but KP never hurts, regardless of where it is. it may itch from time to time, but if it hurts, it isn't KP.

what is the percentage of glycolic acid? you may not be using a strong enough product.

Oh my bad, didnt know, well thats good that it doesnt irritate you. My KP never itches, i just hate the rough skin.. but as long as i moisturize then my legs are really smooth

i just wanted to add! i am totally humiliated! i lied to my last bf and say it was an alergic reaction must be the soap! i cant think of anything else to say..and im soo fair the dark marks left over show bad..guys always think of chicken pox..man i wish..chicken pox goes away!! man..

ok, _technically_ KP on its own shouldn't hurt but sometimes some of us get secondary infections in the plugs and get welts or whitehead-like pustules - Those can hurt or sting a bit. I've been getting them on my calves for a couple of months and I KNOW when there's a new one when my pants brush against it it hurts. and sometimes the ones on my butt if they get infected, they can hurt too.

sorry that happens to you, luckily ive never had anyone notice or say anything to me about mine.. while i was younger my siblings teased me of it...How long have u been with ur boyfriend? If he loves you then y lie to him? tell him tha truth, im sure he'll understand, and if he doesnt then he is really shallow..

If you go to a dermotologist, The KP Kit is very affective and it's only about 60 bucks and it will last you about 2 months

I occasionaly get kp on my butt which really freaks me out - its hard enough having it on my arms - and yes, much like the experiences of others - all dermatologiests I have seen are quite useless.

I have also found (like so many of you) that the KP on the butt is more like red spots and less horrible than my arms but also more upsetting!

One thing I have noticed is that if I scrub my butt daily with a natural bristle shower brush and (GENTLY) use a pumice stone on it once a week it tends to go away... but if i don't scrub it every day it comes back!

Nothing really works on my arms but daily scrubbing definately helps...
