I think we all have the tendency to look at other ladies' arms, and feel sad comparing it to ours

I never had the courage to go sleeveless too, but I am lucky that my KP is only confined to the upper arms area.

Perhaps it's cause everyone is hiding it up, so we don't see many KP-ers around although the statistics say otherwise. I wish someone with alot of self-confidence can get us started on displaying our KP infected areas in public, make it seems like the norm, so I wouldn't feel so bad.

Flo, I do the same exact thing. In class, I look around at all the girls' arms in envy. Everyone always asks me why I have such bad sunburn on the backs of my arms .

But also, like you, I don't cover my arms up anymore. It is what it is, and I could have it much worse. I just hope one day there's a definite and complete treatment for all of us. This place is great because sometimes, it feels like I'm the only one with KP. Thanks, everyone, for all your comments. I'm new to this site, and so I enjoy reading them every day for a confidence booster!

I think we should all start a KP revolution! We should all go out and bare our arms legs
and all the other red lumpy bits and "normalise" KP! Are there any celebrities with KP?

I think some celebs may have kp too…but we just can’t see it cos they are photoshopped away XP.
I’m very happy to find this forum =). My first kp memories: I remember when I was younger I used to wear long sleeve all the time, even in hot weathers (and my arm was minor kp). I remember in high school during the hot weather, everyone was in summer dress, tshirts etc and I would be the odd one out wearing long trousers and a jumper. I remember always answering “im not that hot” whenever someone ask why I didn’t take my jumper off >__<. I’m a lot older now and are less insecure about my kps..although I still don’t wear skirts 99 percent of the time (they aern’t that flattering to me either lol)
