Getting married in a month and a half with KP

Hi,

I am getting married in a month and a half and have KP on both of my arms. I am fair skinned so tanning is out of the question and I have a strapless dress. I need a quick remedy for this that can be temporary but just needs to get rid of the KP for my wedding day. Can anyone help me PLEASE!!!!!!

I can't tan because I only turn red and then back to white again. I really don't know which makeup to try so I am kinda in a rut so to speak.

i would treat it like acne honestly if its worst case scenario. youre just replacing oil with
dead skin when you think about it.

( i am just leaving a comment, im not saying it will/wont work, so please do this at your own risk of your skin being irritated on your wedding day)

best wishes on your wedding!

Though you may be fair-skinned, I would recommend using a tanning bed to slowly work your way up to a nice tan. If you start with very few minutes you will not burn. An attendant at a tanning salon can help you figure out how much time is right for your fair skin. In my experience a tan is the only thing that reduces the bumps. Plus, a tan just generally makes you look sexier! Good luck!

thats a great idea but tanning beds arent the best for our skin , so honestly i think
that a spray on tan would be better.

Sunless tanner

I would recommend L`Oreal Sublime Bronze - Self-Tanning Lotion in light/medium. From my experience in using this tanning lotion (deep color), I did not streak and it didn't turn out orange. Make sure you give it a test run before the big day. Good Luck.

I agree with wonderwoman..try the mystic tan

Here's what is working for me currently..but just remember that everyone's skin is different. I use BBW Eucalyptus Spearmint lotion for the bumps, and skin lightener for the redness, but I also tan to even out the lightening

OKAY , I tHINK IVE FOUND SOMESORT OF CURE!!!!!(**exema and kp may have connections!!)so i am a nursing student and ive been trying to get more vitamins into my diet. so i was looking at vitamins in my anatomy book , and i found vitamin a. i actually think someone mentioned
vitamin a before , im not sure . a sign of vitamin a deficiency is dry skin
dry skin is somewhat like exema (sry if theres any spelling errors)anyway , dry skin is a symptom of vitamin a defficency , so think about it, more vitamin a wil
cure dry skin or exema.exema and kp might be alike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im gonna try this along with using urea cream on certain spots ,(when i used it
on specififcly one spot it worked for me)if i dont use urea ill probably use cortizone , eucerin or stuff like that. ill also try to get more vitamin a. ill tell you
guy if i see an improvment , amybe in the next week or so.

thanks !
stephanie

stephanie...kp is already linked to a vitamin A deficiency lol. Many people on this forum including myself, have tried taking more vitamin A with no results. The problem is not that we aren't getting enough, it's that our bodies don't absorb it correctly. Taking flax seed and fish oils with omega-6 help metabolize vitamins...but many have also tried doing this and seen no results..some do though, but it won't happen in a week like you are hoping. It could take up to a year.

lol..yeah. I just started taking a Flax, Fish and Borage oil supplement. I take that along with a mutivitamin and a vitamin A supplement..and every once and awhile I throw in a calcium, because that also has been linked to eczema. It'd be nice to just be able to solve it from the inside instead of slopping on all different kinds of lotions and cremes
