I have KP pretty bad on my arms/legs/shoulders/stomach/chest/thighs/bottom/back nearly everywere!!

I dont really have it on like the upper half of my neck & face but my face is like rosy & stuff but its not really really affected by KP..........So Hvae you done anything that helps??Do you have KP really bad??

Have you tried sun?Iv been told to get 15mins a sun 3 times a week & it helps Im gonna try....

yehh my kp pretty bad too but i have it on my upper arms and part of my back and same dots only my legs. its rly bad on my arms because its really concentrated.. and for some reason its really hairy also.. i duno y thou.. its upsettin sometimes. nope i hafnt tried nething thats work well for me. o i read ur profile and im a christian too! hope to keep in touch wit u!

I'm 15 and my KP is only on my arms (lower - a little) (upper - a lot) and I live in Canada and it gets pretty hot in the summer so it's kinda bad for me... everyones all "Why do you wear long sleeved shirts?" it sucks.

Im 17 and from London. my Keratosis Pilaris is all over my thighs and shins, it is fairly concentrated and very red and bumpy.

I have only a bit on my arms but alot of scarring from where it was worse when i was younger, i also have scaring on the tops of my bum cheeks from where i also used to have it!

I didnt mind it so much on my arms but now it is all over my legs it does bother me. I used to really like my legs , but now i feel awkward wearing a skirt. Its well frustrating.

I went to a dermatogogist but he told me there was nothing i cld do except sunbathe, which actually seems to make it worse. Does anybody recommend anything i could try which is avaliable in the UK?

Hi 16 yr. old I have had this condition since i was 12 and the thing that helps me the most is to tan the area. When you shower use buff puff or something like that. A year ago I decided to treat this as acne and started using acne creams like benzyle peroxide 10% you can get it at a drug store like Savon or ride aide. I found that the rideaide brand is very good. The main thing is that you be consistant and dont give up. Try not to skip any days. If your skin gets dry use a moisturizer like carmol 10 or something without any kind of oil. Good luck let me know how it goes give it a good month before you give up.
