effective ways to treat lumps on eyebrows and cheeks?
Hello everyone,
Firstly its great to finally find out what I have (KPRF and UO) and that there are people with similar conditions. I've been told I just had eczema for the past 20 years. I've basically got a pretty bumpy, red face, and the bumps are quite severe round where my eyebrows should be and on my forehead and cheeks. From what I've just read, this eucerin redness relief stuff will help with the blushing/ flushing, but I've learnt to live with that. What seems to be getting worse however, are the lumps and bumps onmy eyebrows/ forehead, which get thicker and more weird looking every year. I'm 24 now. What is the best way of smoothing the skin on the face? Thanks |

I have UO also and have found retin-a cream good for giving my skin a smoother texture and getting rid of the persistant bumps.
i have used Pulse dye laser treatment to help reduce the redness however. As retin-a is a form of acid you have to be soooo careful to use it sparingly and stop for a few days if skin become irritated. Retin-a helps sloth off the old skin thereby unblocking the hair follicules. It is used a lot in face creams to help make the skin smoother and diminish the sign of wrinkles. Because the face is highly vascularized you have to go very carefully with any acid type cream ie Alpha hydroxy acids also. You will need a prescription for this cream. |

IPL is another option, it can be set to treat redness, hair removal, and resuface skin to make smoother. I have found with IPL hair removal in the beard area (cheeks) completly got rid of the KP and bumps totaly completly. get rid of the hair, get rid of KP!
