Talking Aquaphor, improvement for UO

I have KPRF, not sure if I have full blown UO but my eyebrows are usually red with tiny little flakes in them. a little thin on the outter end but mainly full, but I look at pictures from years ago and they look the same. any way I started using Aquaphor healing ointment in my eyebrows and it completly takes away the the little flakes, alot less itching as well. If u use it for a couple days u will see that if u skip a day or 2 they will stil be relieved but I use it 3 times a week. its OTC made by eucerin. u only need a tiny bit as I got a few samples from my derm.

Re: Aquaphor, improvement for UO

Did a bit more research and found a site listing ingredients as:

"Ingredients:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Active Ingredients: Petrolatum

Inactive Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Ceresin, Lanolin Alcohol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Bisabolol"

Note: Petrolatum is another name for petroleum jelly or 'vaseline'.

Re: Aquaphor, improvement for UO

its not just petroleum jelly or vaseline, and it works by healing the skin in the eye brow area, and rids the white bumps and improves the redness.

Re: Aquaphor, improvement for UO

does not hurt to try it.
very very good moisturizer for that flaky red area, I think if that area is well moisturized the skin would act normal. worked for me. sold in wallmart, cvs.
