Exclamation Differin???? What should I do?

I have had persistant redness in my face for several years now. I recently went to a new dermatologist and he said that I have keratosis pilaris. He gave me Differin for my face and said to put it on once a day before bedtime. I have been putting it on for 3 weeks right before bed. The only thing that has happened is my skin has become more red and more prone to flushing during the day, I am sooo discouraged because something I thought was going to make my skin better has made it worse. I dont know what to do, should I stop the Differin? Has anyone else had similar experience with Differin and do you think this is just a break in period. I have been on it for 3 weeks now so it seems like my skin should be used to it by now. Advice please!!
