Re: desperate help with treatments!

Hi Hew,

Welcome to the KP forum. We are glad to have you as a new member.

If you are looking for some products and treatments to try, please read these threads:
"What Works For You" Success Stories -- Products and Remedies
and
Commercial products that have worked

Also, for redness:
Collection of Success Posts for Reducing Redness
and
Just Make The Redness Go Away

We have learned that what helps one person won't always help someone else. So you will have to be patient and keep trying different remedies and products until you find the one that helps you. It may be a combination of treatments and products. This is probably because KP has different causes. Also, it may take as long as 30 days to see results.

Please post again and let us know what you try and if it helps.

My treatment: Oil pulling daily; candida diet (minimum of carbs, no sugars); omega-3 from canned salmon and sardines; sun exposure 10-15 minutes, 3 days a week, without sunblock; program to strengthen immune system; probiotic supplements; lots of water; moderate daily exercise; exfoliation with epsom salts and sugar several times a week. KP reduced 99%. If I go "off diet" -- grains, sugars, etc. -- or stop oil pulling, KP returns.
