Well, I have KP on my face, upper and lower arms, chest, and mildly on my thighs. It's red everywhere. My aunt is an Esthetician (sp?) and she has given me things that contain alpha hydroxy acids and that's pretty much it. I have put them on my body but they don't seem to be helping.

Let's just say I'm a vain person and I like to be considered attractive and this KP really doesn't help with that. I'm sick of it. With sea buckthorn, I really don't want to try it because I don't want it to get worse for as long as 2 weeks, even though it's summer I still go places. My aunt has also told me to get Lac-Hydrin and other moisturizing creams. Do those really help at all?

I know things can't make KP go away but I want to make it as non-apparent as possible.

No, we can't make KP go away completely, but many of us have been able to diminish it considerably. Have you read the thread titled, "Thread Devoted to What Works for You"? There are a lot of success stories there. You may find some ideas on products or methods that have helped others. Let us know if anything helps, and please post again with comments or questions.
