Hey, I'm Marta and I'm a newbie to the forum, but unfortunately not to KP.

I've had KP on my arms for about four years now, and I can't even begin to describe how insecure, frustrated and annoyed it's made me. I've met a few people with KP, but they never had it as bad as me - mine is always very red and bumpy.

I've pretty much resigned myself to wearing long-sleeved shirts, and shying away when a guy wants to touch or look at my arms.

I'm also insanely jealous whenever someone with smooth, beautiful, unblemished arms walks by in a tank top... and I just can't believe this **** STILL hasn't gone away, despite all my efforts! I mean, what the HECK?!

I know I could have worse skin conditions, and that I should be grateful for my otherwise good health... but only other people with KP can understand just how emotionally tiresome it is. Reading through the threads on here has really lifted my spirits, knowing I'm not the only one with this problem. I really identify with a lot of you, and reading some of these posts is really inspiring and helpful.
