Re: Which Skin Type Are You?

type 6. black with a brown complexion.
i'm not sure how accurate the poll is for type 6 sun sensitivity, though.
my legs, shoulders and back burn easily when exposed--flaming red welts, then peeling later.
my very dark skinned relatives burn almost immediately and develop nasty blisters.
none of my lighter skinned relatives burn.
as for family background--paternal and maternal combined include african, scottish, cherokee and lumbee.

Re: Which Skin Type Are You?

I am between the 2 and 3 skin type, with very fair skin that burns very easy. If I do get a tan it usually peals off! I have light green eyes, and when I was younger I had light brown hair. (now at 39, its dark) I am half Swedish, which is where I inherited kp, and is mostly on my lower torso, and the backs of my arms.

Re: Which Skin Type Are You?

I'm from the islands and I have dark brown skin...i just found out that i had KP when I moved to the states...most probably because of the colder climate, it JUST became apparent that I am a KP victim!

I have dark auburn hair, green eyes, freckles and can tan (w/SPF 15+). I guess the KP doesn't bother me too much because 1) it is on the back of my arms where i don't see it and a little on my thighs however 2) since I have freckles, I already have "dots" on my body so I'm used to it. My case is not too severe.

Re: Which Skin Type Are You?

I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. On my face it burns instantly and doesn't tan, and on the rest of my body it burns easily and only tans slightly.

Re: Which Skin Type Are You?

I've yellow skin and I tan easily as well. We've sun all around the year and I get a lot of sun out of that but it didn't improve my KP unless I get a sunburn (which is painful.. hiks..)
