Question Left or right?

I read a skin cancer article a while ago that said most US patients who are diagnosed tend to have worse damage on the left part of their body (esp on the face and arms). It does make some sense since we spend so much time driving nowadays (most parts of the US anyways). The article didn't mention whether patients in countries where everyone drives on the left side (in typically right hand drive cars) had worse damage on the right side. So I was wondering if anyone seems to have KP consistently worse on a particular side.

I'm left handed and right now it appears to have less KP than my right arm. Maybe it has to do with circulation or something, not sure...how about you all? Not very scientific at all, just a curious thought

Circulation

I am sure that it is directly related with the blood circulation.

I have just been diagnosed with this horrible skin disorder. I have it more on my right hand. I have been a sufferer for 10years exactly. my mum told me that it was due to the tampoon that I was using. I didn't believe her anyway. Initially I was told by my doctor that I was suffering from verticolor skin disorder and I was prescibed so much stuff that did not work. I was even sent for a biopsy, but to no prevail. My skin is damaged due to so much scratching.

Finally my new doctor told me just two days ago 22/2/ that it was kp. I don't know what this was, and I have never heard of it, so I decided to check the internet and there boom lots of information. I am so emotional right now, because I have suffered for so many years because I didn't know why this horrible disease kept coming back. I have five siblings and I am the only one that has it. I didn't even know it is hereditary. I hope and pray that my baby doesn,t have it. Please if someone can help me. I am black and I have read evreyone's view so far, but I am confused. please help me . I have been so embarrased to wear short sleeves for years and I hate it when my husband try to stroke my arms .

My left arm is way way worse than my right arm. The left arm has about 3 times more KP than the right. I am right handed.

I am British, and although my KP is much improved now than from how it used to be, it is still not perfect, and my left arm is still much worse than my right... the reason being, that as a right-handed person I can pick at, and fiddle with the bumps on my left arm much easier than the ones on the right.

I'm convinced that my 'picking' makes things worse - not that that would stop me!

My left arm is a little worse than my right, but my left leg is a lot worse than my other one...so I guess I have 'em on the left side...It doesn't really matter which side has more to me...they're just as awful...

Right handed and left upper outer arm is about 30% worse than right.

On my waist, they appear roughly the same.

I haven't picked at my KP for at least 5 years, so I'm thinking it's something internal. Possibly blood circulation?

Everybody kind of ignored your post, and I think it's because it's not really related to the poll. If you'd posted it in the general forum, I'm sure more people would've responded. However, check others' posts as to what worked for them. Personally, I use Arbonne, and I know a few others have had sucess with it too. Check my other posts, "Before & After Pics are here!" and "Clearing up with Arbonne" to read more about it. You don't have to suffer (as much). Mine is almost completely clear (I'm wearing a tank top right now! ), and only comes back if I stop using the products for a few days in a row. It's all about maintenence...

Maybe this poll should add another qualifier to each choice: left arm is out drivers window? or right arm is out driver's window?

i'm right handed and my kp is worse on my left arm. i've noticed that before i read this forum, and i think it's odd. hm.. maybe since i'm right handed, i pick more at the left arm...and therefore, my left arm's kp is worse than my right.

I'm right handed and my KP is worse on my left arm

And fyi, I don't touch or otherwise mess with my KP areas - in the shower I do the Neutrogena acne body scrub, and at bedtime I use a 6% Salicylic Acid lotion. The back of my right arm looks way better than the back of my left arm.
