So what is your regimine w/ the AmLactin? When & how often do you apply it & do you use anything else along w/ it? I've been using the sulf. soap which has really helped but I can't seem to get rid of the bumps completey. Thanks for any info. you can give me.

I use a plastic body puff with shower gel. Sometimes I use a body scrub that is not too oily. The shower scrub is from Pureand basic.com, but I see that it's no longer listed in the Pure and Basic product list. I've e-mailed the company to find out what's happened. I also take Omega 3's and Omega 6 oils. This combination works on bumps under the skin of my upper arm. The bumps are almost non-existent and rarely turn into red blemishes.

I apply a thin layer of the AmLactin on my buttocks and thighs after I dry off. So far, it works great on the red blemishes which always seemed to plague those areas despite scrubbing, taking oils, wearing natural fibers and bathing immediately after exercise.

I'm never a big fan of pharmaceuticals, but I've been converted with the discovery of AmLactin.

I'll post any updates on the body scrub since it has been fantastic and doesn't turn the tub into an oil slick!

hmmm....amlactin has always had contradicting testimonies. Some find it works, others don't . But there is an important element in what ajcstamat mentions. It is important not to use it excessively .

I've noticed that more is not always best or even necessary. On the contrary, when you smear on too much(especially lactic or urea) it makes KP look worse.

I have tried putting AmLactin on my 5 year old daughter a few times and she always cries out in pain saying that is stings and burns. So now I am throwing it out. I really wish I could find something that works for my poor baby. She is constantly picking at her bumps and I am so worried about scarring. Not to mention she will soon be at the age where it will become embarrassing.

I now rarely use AmLactin (yes, it does burn sometimes), instead I use the Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program solutions. I take all of the solutions every day, but you can try strating with just the Integumentary solution (for skin) and the Cell Solution. They come preserved in brandy or vinegar. I have been using AmLactin on my 1 year old boy for about 6 months. I cannot tell that it has helped any. I put it on 1 or 2 times a day. Do you think I am doing it to often? I sure hope it is not burning him. Do you think that the Perelandra would be safe for a toddler?
