That was hard to decifer, but yes, you can use it. Hmm, actually I will try to buy it for myself if I find it at Walgreens.

If you buy it, please tell me your results.

sorry for the confusing post heh. what ingredients should I try to avoid specifically? I'm assuming that this body wash would not be a good idea for my daughter, right?

Hmm, If you have other natural alternatives you should tried them first.

I totally forgot to tell you that Walgreens carry a great soap that I always use: Moisturizing Soap | The International Toiletry Company | Beauty & Spa | Walgreens

Will the olive oil products by L'occitane work?
They have liquid and bar soaps.

I've looke din to them, but they are not specific with their ingredients list. They just talk about one of them, olive oil.

From their website:
"Olive tree - Olea europae
Description:

A twisted tree of the Oleaceae family, the olive tree can reach a height of 20 m and live more than 2,000 years. The tree is clothed in silvery leaves. The olives are first green, then black when fully ripe in October-November.
Traditions:

An emblematic tree of the Mediterranean basin, the olive tree symbolises strength, peace, fertility and longevity. Its oil was long the beauty secret of the people of Provence, who used it to nourish and soften their skin. In Rome, women anointed their hair with it to keep it silky and supple.
Properties:

Cold-pressed olive oil possesses nourishing and regenerative properties which make it a recognised anti-ageing ingredient. At L'Occitane, it is oxygenated to increase its cellular stimulating power. It thus encourages the elimination of toxins. Very rich in polyphenols, olive water has the property of protecting the cells from free radicals. Thanks to these two products derived from the olive, the skin regains equilibrium, freshness and radiance."

They look really good,
I'll contact them and ask them if they use sodium tallowate in their products...maybe this is a great alternative. Let me find out...

Re: best bath soap to use for 3.5 yr old with KP?

Hi. I'm new here, but so very glad I found this site. Both of my kids have KP, but my daughter suffers the worst. She has had it since 8 months old and is now 8 years old. I am actually looking for something to clear the face at this point.

To give you my personal solution to a bath soap, I found that the Avon Vanilla Cream for Dry Skin Bubble Bath was the thing that works best on my daughter. This might sound a little crazy, but when she was about 4 years old I gave it a try, and it worked for her arms and legs...the KP was nearly gone. I notice when I totally stop using the bubble bath it does come back, so I believe it works for her. I do not use it every day, just maybe 3-4 times per week, depending on how the KP is at the time.
