I plan on reading through more threads to see where others are coming from and what information they have to offer. I have a 2 year old son who has had a nasty skin rash on his face for the last 5 months. The doctor last month dx it as KP and gave us a script for a stronger hydrocortozone cream. The cream helps, but I'm not comfortable with using a steriod cream on his face daily. So, I'm here to find other options and treatment for his rash. So far I've learned that Vit. A and Coconut Oil help minimize the rash. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and I've leaned today that there's a link between higher insulin levels and KP - so I'm trying to learn more about that too and how that effects my son.

I hope you find some remedies to try here. What works for one doesn't work for all, so you may need to try several to find something that helps your son. Whatever you try, give it enough time to see if it makes a difference.
