My son's KP is going.

I have just joined his group. My 13 year old son had quite severe KP on his upper arms.
It is really going. We are so happy. One arm is almost completely clear and the other has just a small section left.

We have been using milk products to exfoliate and moisturise, and a mixture of ACV, water and Tea Tree oil is applied after showering, before moisturising.

He also drinks warm ACV, with honey and ginger. We all drink this. It's yummy.

Milk products are from here if anyone is interested:

Do they sell milk soap in any stores or is it only online?

Re: My son's KP is going.

I know here in Australia you can get Goats milk soap from Health shops. Not sure if it would be the same. The soap we use is liquid body wash made from milk and he exfoliates with it, as well as oatmeal and milk soap. We get ours online.

Re: My son's KP is going.

Thank you for the information and link to the products. I am wondering if you have used any of this on the face? Also, could you tell me what ACV is?

Re: My son's KP is going.

I'm sure you could use it on the face. I'm not sure you would want to exfoliate tho. maybe a gentle brown sugar scrub would be better.
ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar. You have to get the unpasteurised one from the health shop, which has the mother in it.

Re: My son's KP is going.

Do you drink the ACV or rub in on the KP areas?? Or both?

Re: My son's KP is going.

Both.
We have a spray bottle with half ACV and half water and some tea tree oil. I have always used this as a toner, but now my son sprays it on his KP after his shower.
We all drink ACV (a few teaspoons) with a slice of ginger and spoon of honey dissolved in hot water.
