advise needed please for my 6 year old
hi everyone
I must admit I had never heard of KP until today ! Last week my daughter age 6 spent 2 days at her grandparents she came home and sat eating her tea and complained of spots, i had a look and saw them on her arms, tops of her legs and buttocks - they are raised bumps like permanent goose bumps. They seemed better a day or so later but after 2 days were still there altho not too prominent I took her to see the pharmacist who advised it was an allergy and to use eurax and piriton.Today a week on they are still there so we have been to the GP's. The gp tells me she has kp and its heriditary but neither me nor my husband have ever had it and we can't think of anyonr else in the family who has ? is it just parents who pass it on or can it be from from more distant relatives ? what i 'd like to know is how best should i treat the bumps ? what creams ? lotions should i use ? is there anything she should avoid eating ? is there something she should eat /drink ? i have googled and there is so much information its mind blowing ! I'm feeling quite about it all wish I could have it instead of her. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.thanks |

use moisturizers like Eucerin or Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (EVCO). she shld avoid eating spicy n oily food in general.she shld go for a VEGA test to see wat type of food she is allergy to.u said neither ur husband or u have KP so she might be the 1st carrier in ur family.goodluck
