If it does work for all the people who tried your stuff Annuu, are you going to make anymore samples. Im not a parent I'm 15 and I've tried all kinds of creams and nothing seems to work very well. So if there is good outcome with others...please make more.

Feedback so far on Lacteem

"I have been using it daily on my 17 month old daughter for about 1 full week, I wanted to take before picture but she wouldn’t hold still.

Anyways, so far the product is working as the kp is going away. I never went to the doctor to ask what it is, but suddenly couple weeks ago all these little spots that look like kp appeared on her upper arms, especially the inner part. Some of them seemed like tiny pimples.

I want to see what happens if I stop using this product, like will it come back? I will keep using it till it completely gone.

I have a sister who has kp and she always is trying to get rid of it by exfoliating (which is not enough) so I will recommend to her this cream.

This is a very good cream.

Thank u very much. I want to keep using it for a while and see if I stop using it would it come back, I will let you know. I like the ingredients, that there doesn’t appear to be any animal byproducts like tallow and animal glycerin. "

"You must have been reading my mind ;-). I was going to email you to ask how soon we should see results. I haven't noticed a huge improvement since we've been using it, however, I have been seeing some improvement. We have been putting it on once a day in the evening after his shower. Would you suggest using it BID?"

More feedback after 1 week of using Lacteem:

"It seems to be working! I'll keep you posted. Thank you!"

"I have spoken to my sister who is using the cream on her daughter. Her feedback is that there has been a slight improvement probably the same effect as using QV oil but she is keen to continue using it. "

Just received the following feedback from the use of Koru kp Oleum & Lacteem on the face of an 8-year old:

"Thank you very much for the Koru kp Oleum. My son’s cheeks are looking better and softer everyday since using Koru kp Oleum. I’ve tried everything that claims to help calm kp on faces, but ended up in a big disappointment. I also tried Lacteem which is equally good. It is finally nice to see real results from a product that helps soften kp on faces. Thank you for inventing a great product for people with kp. "

Looks like it is helping people, so I will definitely be making up another batch in the next week!

Kind regards,

Annuu

From the same Mom (immediately above) who has a 8-year old son with kp, this is about her daughter:

"My daughter has kp on her cheeks as well but very few and the Koru kp Oleum helps return her skin to almost normal –soft and smooth!"

Help! I just found this site....My 11 month old was just diagnosed today...

My poor baby has been having issues with this since she was about 4 months old. First they said it was baby acne, then the diagnosed it as excema, was prescribed medicine for that...nothing seemed to work So we went back to the dermatologist, and the pediatric Dr. says that it's KP...I am so sad for her, she is such a sweet baby, but has this awful red bumpy stuff on both of her cheeks. Nothing we seem to do helps...sometimes it gets less red, but the bumps are still always there, and redness seems to come right back the next day. I feel so bad for her. The Dr. said it starts to go away in kids usually...but that it could stick around until grade school....how devastating for her Anyway I am a naturalist as much as I can be, and I hate putting non organic things into or on my children,,,,I am interested as to what your cream is made of again, and if you think it's safe to put on a little baby's sensitive face? I just want to help her, poor thing. I realize it probably bothers me more then her, but I feel so badly, I can't help it. Thanks for reading my inquiry.

Dear Shannon:

Lacteem contains avocado oil, lactic acid, sodium lactate, thickeners, emulsifiers, vitamins A, C & E, fragrance, non-parabens preservative and water.

Koru kp Oleum contains Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, hardened coconut oil, thickener, lecithin and vitamin E.

We have used both formulas on our 4-year old son's kp, and we found that Lacteem worked best for him. We have received feedback from other parents that Koru kp Oleum works well on their young children's kp on faces.

I will be making another batch of Lacteem in the next week, so it will be available from our website soon!

Kind regards,

Annuu

Hi Annuu,
Is there any way to get a trial of your cream. Several people have reccommended it. I have a toddler son with kp and I would love to try it out. I am willing to pay. Are there any left? Thank you.

Gidday Quentin:

Sorry for the delay in replying to your note, hope that's OK.

Thanks for your interest in Lacteem kp Junior. Unfortunately all of the trial samples are gone, but I am pleased to say that it is now available for purchase from our website.

There are three strengths of Lacteem available:
Junior (= 7% AHA complex) [for kids, and very mild kp in teens and adults]
Regular (= 14% AHA complex) [for mild/moderate kp in teens and adults]
Extra (= 21% AHA complex) [for moderate/severe kp in teens and adults]

Kind regards,

Annuu

Latest feedback on Lacteem kp Junior:

"The Lacteem is wonderful! My poor child got this KP
from me and his father and this is the only thing that
has worked. He has never had that baby soft skin (even
as a baby!) and the difference is very noticeable."

Kind regards,

Annuu

Re: What's worked for your kids?

HI,
My daughter has had KP since she was about 7 months old. She's 4.5 yrs now. I've tried what seems like everything and gave up for a while. I just checked back to the forum for the first time in a while and found this thread. I have placed an order for the Lacteem jr. cream. I will update once I've had a chance to use it for a while. Thanks!!
Sharon

AHA Warning for Use on Children

For anyone here considering using a product that contains AHA on their children, here is a warning from the FDA:

" It is not recommended that AHA-containing products be used on infants and children."

To read the entire warning:
http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/cos-aha.html

Children's skin is much more sensitive than adults'. I understand you are desperate to find a remedy for your children, but please don't burn tender skin.

At the least, you should not put AHA or any chemical on your children without first getting approval from your pediatrician.

Re: What's worked for your kids?

I am desperate to find something to help my 2 1/2 year old. We have used everything from creams to eczema treatments and unfortunately we both suffer from Keratosis Pilaris. Any advice?

Re: What's worked for your kids?

Hi Rnmom:

Have you tried exfoliation? You can gently exfoliate your son/daughter's skin and yours with natural products. Then moisturize it with lotion. Also you can try glycerin soaps that are made out of vegetable oils. You can find these at different department stores or pharmacies. They usually are transparent bars.

I don't suggest you try harsh chemicals on your baby. It is a different story if you decide to do it for yourself. Some of our members tried Salycilic Acid and AHA Lotions, with good results, but you have to read and follow specs. and directions from a physician.

If you want to go for an internal treatment you can read Kebod's and Baronster's threads. They are located in our General Discussion Forum, always in the first positions (they are sticky threads).

I hope that here you can find something that works for both of you.
