My 10 year old son was diagnosed with KP when he was four and while he only has the skin colored & white rough bumps (not the red ones) he has them almost everwhere -- upper and lower arms, thighs, back, butt, and face. Some of the children at his school have started unkindly commenting about the bumps on his face and he desparately wants to be rid of them. His doctor says that it will probably go away with time -- as mine did (although I only had KP on my upper arms and thighs). He said to use a loofa in the shower and the baby oil afterwards. We've tried this for years and while it helps the look and feel of the bumps -- get rid of them. There seems to be so much information here that I'm confused as to what to try first? Is there a list of treatments with good results somewhere? Anything you can do to point me in the right direction will be apprecaited.
Thanks, sscummings |

Try him with :
Eucerin "Extremely dry skin treatment lotion with 10% urea" It may help him but consult your gp before you do (up to you) It may help his skin and also stops him picking at it if he does because its slimey xD |
