Product I use for my face... maybe it'll help others?

Hi,

I'm 27 and have KP on my arms and I have no eyebrows. But I used to have KP on my face too. I accidentally found a great system that has completely cleared up my face.

I can recommend some treatments that have worked for me. I wash with Beaux Visage's Deep Cleansing Gel (www.http://www.beauxvisages.com/) and it has worked well for me for years. Very gentle, maybe it's the combo of ingredients - but it has cleared up my face and it looks great. The face wash is worth the price, although it's not marketed for KP, I am lucky I found it. Also, I put the Beaux Visage face wash, (just use a little tiny dab if it, a little goes a long way) on a disposable exfoliating sponge. The brand name is Studio Basics (for the Face) and they are sold in packs of 12 at CVS, Rite Aid, etc. You can use one for the whole week, they're great, and I just work the face wash gently, in a circular motion. Then I use either Vaseline body lotion or Clinique's yellow moisterizer. My skin is radiant! Wish I could say the same for my arms and eyebrows.... but maybe this will help some of you... this is a tough thing to have. Can anyone recommend treatments for my arms? I've heard of using Alpha Hydroxy Acids? There are so many product recommendations on the site, it's dizzying. I'd like something that really works for my arms - something a little stronger than the gentle stuff I use on my face.

Are you still eyebrowless? Have you checked out the post about demodex? It might help your eyebrows... Just a thought...

It's a mite (microscopic!) that lives in your pores. Apparently lots of people carry it, but it never bothers them. Only about 10% get breakouts or problems like yours. I just had a skin s****e done and I'm negative (whew!). It was relatively simple and definitely painless. Just google "demodex" and lots of stuff will come up.

Also, if the minoxidil doesn't help, let me know. allisonsullivan@insightbb.com
I may have another solution, but I have to check with a couple of people to get their feedback. Still, let me know...

Eww.... mites sound creepy. I am creeped out enough with dust mites, never mind skin mites. My doctor friend has informed me that we do indeed, all have some microscopic mites on our skin, but I try not to think about it too much! I will definitely let you know how the Minoxodil works. Thanks for you ideas!
