question for moms
My teenage daughter has kp and we have been doing the same routine for quite awhile now, with some pretty good results. With winter here now and the bumps popping up a bit more, I have considered trying something new. I should say, to add onto, what she and I currently do. The neutrogena bump cream was up there on my list, but right now thats on hold as I read up a bit on the cosmetics cop website and we don't need a sunscreen, which is the first ingredient I hear on its labeling. But, if any of you have had some good results, will you let me know please?
Anyway, what are some of you trying with your kids? Also, do your children have really dry elbows??? I never had this, but she does. That seems to be more of a battle than the kp as it seriously took months before her elbows looked normal. Now again, its back. It always comes back in the winter. I am just curious here to see if other kids have these cakey dried out elbows like she does. They don't crack or bleed, but they are grayish, and I know, she probably just ignores this when she puts on her oils and aims for the spots. I am basically looking for something otc.
