I was thinking if laser hair removal is to solve the problem, then there is a chance of getting it covered at least partially under health insurance... Hmm..

Prolief Helps!! So Does the Body Serum and Lotion!
My sister had KP in puberty, not me. I had good skin.
My mother got it in menopause, but not lucky me. My skin looked great. Then I got pregnant and got KP that was worse than either of theirs! It's definitely triggered by hormonal fluctuations. I'm also an Arbonne Consultant and the reason being is that I noticed a difference in my KP in 2 weeks time! I started with the Prolief and then added the Body Serum and Lotion and finally began using the Foaming Body Wash. I love the stuff! I signed up to become a consultant right away to get that 35% discount. Since I found something that worked for me, I decided I have to shout it from the rooftops. Like I said, I never had KP until I got pregnant, and it really erupted after I delivered. I was told it might heal after I stopped nursing and got on BC pills. I nursed for 10 mos. and then got on OrthoTriCyclin Lo. What a nightmare! I was evil. So, after many trials and tribulations (see my post in the "mom's" forum for details), I gave Arbonne a try. The all-natural principles of pure, safe, and beneficial products finally did the trick. AND I feel much better on the whole to have my hormones leveled off botanically. I even sleep through the night without waking to go to the bathroom! That's something I thought I'd never do again after having a C-section.If anyone wants to see before and after pics (2 weeks difference), e-mail me and I'll send them. Additionally, if you'd like to sign up as an Arbonne consultant and get your own 35% discount (don't worry, there's no quotas, it's just like a wholesaler membership), let me know and I'll get you started! --Allison |

I think I might have Kp after pregnancy
I had my first child in October of 2005 and shortly after she was borm I noticed something that looked like acne on my arms I never had this before. I thought once my hormones leveled off it should go away. When my daughter was nine months I got pregnant again well into my second trimester the bumps disappeared. My second child was born March 2007 a few weeks after she was born the bumps re-appeared. Now I noticed something similar on my 20 month old back of her legs. Does this sound like KP. I'm going to go to the Dermatologist I just don't have a lot of time right now. Does anyone else have the same issues

My son is 15 months old now (of course my hormones are still wacky, doc says that it will be another good year before Im "normal" again) However, I am heading tothe dermatologist here soon. I would love to know what your doctor says to do about it.
Cheers, -Kate! ![]() |

Not in Canada?
I am living in Canada and also am suffering from KP which worsened substantially after giving birth. My sister sells Arbonne but
I can't find Prolief in their on-line shopping site. Is it only available in the US? ![]() |

In my case, I'm sure vitamin deficiencies played a major role in my kp after pregnancy. See "Vitamins Inside and Out":

Re: KP ONLY after pregnancy???
Hi, I have yet to be diagnosed, i will be seeing a dermatologist next week, but from all the research i have done, i believe this is what I have. Can you answer two things for me? are white heads common? almosy 99% of my bumps do have white stuff that comes out. Also, in regards to the arbonne, should i wait until I am diagnosed to try it? I jus want something to take this away. Its now on my thighs which i never saw before until my son was born, and now it's moving dowm my legs

Re: KP ONLY after pregnancy???
My experience was KP only on upper arms my whole life until I was pregnant with my daughter at 27. Than it got bad all the way down my arms to my wrists. I still had it a few months after birth than it went away...EVEN the upper arms that was part of me forever. I than had my son and it never came back. So thats what happened...unfortunatley it left me and got my 6 year old daughter on her upper arms and UGGH! her cheeks pretty bad. I would take mine back any day if she wouldnt have it on her face. We are just starting to battle it. Good luck everyone!
