Talking no more rednes

Hi, I've suffered with kp since I was a little girl (now 28). It never bothered me until after my 1st pregnancy. That is when it started to get red and inflamed. Like so many others I went to a derm and researched this condition. I scrubbed with a loofa and put all sorts of lotions to no avail. Recentily, fed up, I went on a strike to do nothing to my arms. I stopped scrubbing and applying special creams. The only thing I would do is put a moisturizing lotion after my shower. Well, its been about 2 weeks and I'm happy to report that my redness and inflamation have diminished dramatically. The bumps are still there but they are now fleshed colored. When I would scrub in the shower my arms would kind of burn afterward. The hot water also made my kp worse. Well I hope this can help some of you kp suffers.
BYe!!

I, too, noticed my KP flaring up with Pregnancy.
How long before you were able to get your KP under control?

It took a long time, I don't think I ever fully recovered from it. Of course I got pregnant again 18 months after my first born so I still have it but not as bad since I haven't been scrubbing.
