I found a lotion that is working - 50% improvement so far!

Hi! I have KP, a mild case on my arms but my main story is that I gave it to my son. That is how we found out what it is. His is very bad - all over his arms, on his legs but less there and worst is his face. His is very prominent, red and raised on his face. We noticed it when he was a baby and he is now almost 7 yrs old. I have tried it all and done so much research with no luck until now!

I have found something that is really helping him and I would say after 1 1/2 weeks of trying this lotion his kp is at 50% as far as how raised, hard and visibly noticible the bumps are.

We are using Urea 40% Cream RevitaDERM that I found on Amazon but purchased through Dr Todds website ($24.95). (I can't seem to post the url here, but it's drtodds dot com)

Here's what happened: My Mom was watching Dr. Oz and a women wanted to ask him about bumps on her arms. He immediately said that it was KP and that she needed to use Urea 40%. My Mom was impressed with how quickly and confidently he answered, so we started looking into it. Many of the creams that people here have said help have Urea but at lower %s. 40% is a prescription strength but I found many site sell it online. I liked RevitaDerm because it also had natural ingredients that I have used before.

I plan to post this in different areas of this site to hopefully spread the word. It has worked so well for my son that I want other people to know it might be a good option for them too.

From the research I did before purchasing, Urea is natural and is used to soften skin, especially KP. It is not causing him any skin problems and does not seem to be harsh or irritating to him. I would suggest that anyone try it on a small spot of skin first to be sure there is no reaction as everyone is different.

I do not know if our success is because my son has young skin or if it will work this well on anyone. But it is definitely encouraging for those here with children. I used it twice a day (morning and after bath) making sure to moisten his skin before applying. Now on our second week, my husband forgets to put it on him in the morning, so he is only getting it once a day expect on the weekends when I am there to put it on first thing. But I am so pleased with the fast change that I am going to continue using it and post back here if it completely clears it up. I am also not sure if this will be a lotion we will have to continue to use to keep the KP away or if we will be able to stop if it completely clears the problem. Time will tell.

We are very encouraged and hopeful!!
