I have KP, and just realized what it was from reading your website. I have had 3 children, and it's always improved during pregnancy, and seems to get much worse after having the baby. It has also gotten worse with age -- or each progressive child, I am not sure. I pick constantly, and now have many scars on my arms and legs. It's embarassing, and horrible in the hot (sleeveless) weather. I never had it in childhood. Does anyone know what causes it to start during adult years?

I just wanted to comment that my KP worsened too after having my first child. It used to just be on my upper arms and scattered hardly there on my upper thighs. After the baby was born it is now severe on my upper thighs and has spread to my lower arms. It has been 7 months since I had the baby. Did yours go back to not as bad after awhile?
