bleeding bumps/white spots

I haven't been to the dermatlologist but think KP is my problem. Have had rough upper arms and legs for a long time, but now at age 61 (!) the condition seems to be worsening. Also have spots on my ankles and upper feet, which tend to bleed on occasion when rubbed. I tan easily, but the last few years I have noticed white spots, which I think are where the bumps have been. Areas where the bumps are also get blotchy after sun exsposure--especially on my upper legs where the shower hits. I was a real mess )full of blotches) after a week in Florida at the end of March (and also suspect an allergy to the sunscreen).
