If anyone has any experience with this product, please post telling if you had success with it or not. Thank you.

Re: Proactiv - postive results

Proactiv is the only product that works on my face. I've been using it for almost four years. However, it doesn't appear to work for everyone. It's pricey, but you can get the travel kit on QVC.com for $15(plus shipping). You don't have to use a ****load of it, just about the size of a dime of the cleanser, a small squirt of the toner on a wet (and squeezed out) cotton ball, and a pea sized amount of the repairing lotion. The travel kit is a good way to try it without spending a lot of money. You will know if it is working for you by the time that is gone. I saw results in about three days...but like I say, it worked for me. It doesn't work for everyone (it didn't work for my sister, for instance...but it did for my son).

The benzoyl peroxide in it will bleach out the red places eventually. It is only 2%, so it doesn't eat your skin off. They have a lightening lotion, but it was too harsh for my skin.

One of the regular sized kits will actually last about four months (I always run out of the toner first--but you can buy the pieces separately on QVC.com). Don't join the club. You just end up with scads of the stuff, because you can't use it fast enough.

Interestingly, the Proactiv facial stuff doesn't work on my body KP. I am currently using the Neutrogena body wash, scrub, and lotion for that (It's 2% salicylic acid). It has helped some, but not as much as I would like...or as fast, but I am trying to be patient.

I also use emu oil on my body and face, and that helps. The key is persistence, I think...I can't seem to let treating the KP go one day, or it explodes again.

Good Luck!
