antibiotics only help for acne and infections and can cause rash and cause KP to get worse if allergic to antibiotics, SUN rays from tanning beds and sun burns cause KP and other keratosis skin diseases !!

Throughout my whole childhood there was only one thing I ever had an allergic reaction to, and that was Erythromycin. I can remember taking it (orally) and getting so sick I thought I was going to die! Apparently this is not an uncommon reaction among children. I'm really glad that you've had success with it and I'm sure that others will try it. But don't forget that it's an antibiotic and it shouldn't be taken long term - even though it's a cream, a lot of it will be absorbed by the body. Antibiotics can also lose their effectiveness if taken for too long and then they won't work when you really need them. Thanks for the info, Rick.
