kp and acne

The bumps have gone down and the burgandy color and almost gone away. I am wondering about the acne. Has anyone ever used lac-hydrin for facial acne. Also, has anyone ever noticed an increase in freckles when the bumps on arms fade. I think I had them so long before they were treated that they caused freckles. Thanks for the help. Cindy

I have had a light case of kp since I was in my teens. Right now, I only have a few bumps on each arm and thats it, and I'm guessing its because of the weather and it being drier in my house and outside. Mine seems to be clearing up with age (though I wonder what will happen come menopause-you never know with kp!). I have some freckles on my arms, very light spots, and have always wondered if this was something related to kp or is it from the sun exposure I had when I was little. I don't have them anywhere else so find that rather odd. My kp has always acted up around pregnancy and when I was a teen was more pronounced. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know about the website.

Cindy, if you haven't already, please try Erythrymycin 2% gel.. It treats mild to moderate facial acne and helps with KP.. I know my son is using it. We got a prescription from derm.. Other people on this site say you can get it online.. I don't know.. Good luck!!
