I've seen the posts here and at msm-msm.com regarding the use of our White Glop for facial redness. I'm glad this has helped some. BUT, I want to caution those with extremely sensitive skin. Our White Glop (also known as Emu Gel w/MSM or Super White Gel), contains Peppermint and Eucalyptus Essential oils. Those with sensitive skin (and young children) may have a reaction to these Essential Oils, especially when used on the face. This gel was created to be similar to the blue gel in that it helps "pains" (although we are not doctors and do not intend to diagnose or treat any ailment). I think what is helping the redness is a combination of the MSM, Aloe, Emu Oil and Lavender Essential Oil. I would be happy to formulate the gel without the Peppermint and Eucalyptus for those who would like to use it on their faces. For those interested, please contact Kerry at www.msm-msm.com. His site carries our gel (He calls it White Glop) and ask him to contact us for a non-peppermint/eucalyptus gel. You'll note his price for our gel is very inexpensive, so it may be worth trying out. On a side note, my almost 5 year old daughter has KP. Of course I just figured this out today from this site. She's always had rough bumps on her arms and legs. Her pediatrician just said dry skin and not much we could do. Now I know there are various treatments/theories. Being a personal care manufacturer (on a small scale), I will be taking in all the theories and will try to formulate both an effective lotion and soap/wash. I will be happy to post back with any results we find. BTW, her bumps aren't red, and really not too noticable. Hopefully they won't get any worse before I can make something to help. I think I do agree with the genetic factor of KP as I have a few cousins with it too (although no one else in our immediate family).

I will definately keep you all informed. I have already been working on a Salicylic acid wash/cream aimed towards teens (with 2 of my own with acne problems, this is a priority). Also I'm perfecting a Glycolic Acid moisturizer and working on a facial wash. I have a shipment of Urea due in and will be working on a lotion and facial moisturizer. For scrubbing, I'm still trying to perfect a ground loofa body wash, but I'm having trouble "suspending" the loofa in the wash. I do have it down pat in a bar soap though.
