I'm so happy to have found this site. Thank you so much. I've had KP since I was in my early teens. At 36, you would think I would have figured out a way to stop picking, but no such luck. I thought I had acne all these years, and my dermatologist never even mentioned KP, even though it was on my arms, thighs, knees, and buttocks, the classic KP zones. So much for him. I finally realized what I had when my second son developed the bumps when he was only a few months old. He's 18 months now and using Lachydrin. It doesn't seem to help much, but at least his dermatologist has a clue. My concern now is that I'm pregnant again, and I can't use many of the products recommended for KP because they aren't safe during pregnancy. If anyone has any suggestions regarding products that are safe for use during pregnancy, I'd be grateful. Thanks for your postings. Reading them made me feel like crying because I realize that I'm not alone. I was actually relieved to find out I had KP. At least these bumps have a name. I feel much better telling people I have a skin condition, rather than trying to explain the scarring and bumps. Love to all.

Hi there, I've only found this site today but like you, have been "picking" for over 15 years! My kp did go away from the ages 20-27 but came back after the birth of my second child! Its worse than ever now!
