No, but I can remember coming out of the shower and scratching my jawline and it and it getting red before I don't remember when. Anyways my derm told me KP is an allergy which I guess makes sense cause I also started nasal allergies in March of that same year and have had the past two Marhes. I did have an outbreak of hives or (uticaria) when I was about ten. So I do have past exper. with skin allergies. My derm also did a skin patch test on my back and I developed a big hive in response to some of the chemicals. But the KP is not a hive it's bumps some with a hard center some soft and there were patches of redness and red dots where my pores were on my arms. I guess the anti-histamine property of Zyrtec helped. Sorry to go on but when I read about Zyrtec @ their website they said it is the only allergy med. to help w/outdoor anndd indoor allergies like mold (which is a prob) down here in Miami. So I am thinking since I have no nasal problems now, it doesn't have to do w/outside, it has to do with inside (breathing mold). Also I didn't start KP until I moved here (Miami). I am also using Tazorac to help exfoliate repair my skin. One more thing have you ever heard of or experienced KP get's better when you take antibiotics. Antibiotics kill internal mold. Just like accutane kills acne causing bacteria inside. Mold and bacteria are the enemy and allergies(histamine release) and acne/KP are the result

OK, well this might sound crazy but at the time I eat both Zyrtec and antibiotics, and my facial redness is persisting. Just to let you know...

Does your red areas itch? Mine do. I wonder if a treatment that helps rosacea would help? I am using a cream called Tazorac that is for plaque psoriases since my KP was very bad when I first started going to my derm. Your skin could be red from being dry. Talk w/a derm involved in skin diseases. I am still trying to figure this whole thing out and what works for me. I have my Dr and Obstetrician saying it's nothing don't worry, my derm telling me it's an allergy, and my homeopathic mother-in-law telling me it's candida related.
