Hey everyone im haveing the long pulsed dye laser surgery on monday dec.23 and i have a couple of questions. 1) Ive heard the my skin will turn red well how red will they be. and also the doctor said it might take as many as 7 treatments to kill all the capillaries and he also said well have to do each treatment every 2 weeks well will the red skin after the surgery be red till then or how quick will it return to normal color?

I had laser work done for broken capillaries in my cheeks. The laser really did a fantastic job to get rid of the redness. I swelled up something fierce though, but once the swelling went down, my cheeks were noticably less red, and over the course of 3 month's, the redness reduced a great deal more.

When I had laser surgery less than two weeks ago, the redness was horrible afterwards. The bruising itself went away in about a week.I wore green coverup, that helped quite a bit. I'm surprised to hear that you are getting treatments every two weeks, i've always been told you need 4-6 weeks before getting another treatment. Anyways, good luck, and I truly hope it works out for you!
