kp is better , varies day to day - whats with the blood flow?

All summer I scrubbed & applyed a million and 1 different lotions for my kp. I've since stopped, I just use regular soap & good moisturizer. My kp is much less noticable. I think too much attention just makes condition worse. My arms are 90% better, legs no as good - just scatterd bumps. I noice when I first get up in the morning there is barely any reddness (on legs). Its the reddest after shower & standing for long periods & when I'm nervous. If I massage legs with lotion the reddness is almost gone. Does anyone know how to improve blood flow to the legs as I can obviously see the connection between reddness and blood flow? |

Don't know if this will help at all but my Dr. told me that one of the best things to do to help blood circulation & spider veins for my legs is the stairmaster. So, maybe this could also help our KP, who knows? |

YES, I have definitely thought about that. I have KP on my forearm pretty bad and if I hold it straight up over my head for a while the KP is almost un noticable, the same when I lie down. Too bad, I guess it is nothing we can do about that unless we want to spend out lives horizontally ![]() |

My personal experience is that when i pick off one of the plugs, it bleeds and then scabs over. The redness is infact blood (obviously). When i take a warm bath, and i lift my leg out of the water and inspect it, the red dots are completely gone...and i mean GONE, vanished. But when i get out of the tub when i'm done my bath, and stand up, the red dots are back 10 fold in appearence, purple, dark red, light red, my legs look like a freakin christmas tree. To me, the KP's apparent approach and withdrawl is largely a mystery to me. |
