Foods and KP

Hey folks, I've been reading some of the posts about how food allergies can be related to KP and I think that's a good theory. But, from my point of view as a professional in the health industry, I want to advise against completely eliminating a major food source such as dairy or wheat from your diet. These foods have certain components that are hard if not impossible to replace with other food sources. My suggestion would be to cut back on a food before you completely eliminate it from your diet. Plus, you might consider trying to eat foods that are in their natural state (i.e. whole grain over white bread). Processed foods have tons of chemicals, steroids, and preservatives that can disrupt our bodies. Doing this has helped my kp alot, good luck.

I totally agree with you Eminem! To be honest, even if it is true that cutting out certain vital foods will improve our KP, I still want to stay as healthy as possible. I don't want to be deficient in some areas of my nutritional needs just so I can possibly reduce the appearance of a condition that doesn't threaten my life in any way.
