of women on the PCOS site have KP (they didn't know the name but they had the bumps like me)
I have both and have always thought there was a connection. But if 50% of adults have this then maybe not.

Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome. Another hereditary condition
that affects many women. Symptoms are irregular periods,
excess hair and weight, acne and I can't remember what else. My mom had
the symptoms and so do I but we've never been officially diagnosed.

No, I haven't got PCOS but I've got a lot of KP. On the other hand, I know someone who has and she doesn't have KP, in fact she has fantastic skin. Why should there be a link?

I thought it only affected 5-10% of women:

"Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is also known as: polycystic ovaries; sclerocystic ovarian disease; polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD); Stein-Leventhal Syndrome. PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. PCOS is actually a misnomer, because it only refers to one of many symptoms associated with this disorder. It affects between 5 to 10% of all women and is one of the leading causes of infertility."

that was off the website :

Because PCOS sufferers often have skin problems. But apparently I am wrong in this theory.
