Does the MSM even work?
Hey guys. Well, I was just looking over a lot of the previous posts and it seems like MSM basically hasn't worked for ANYBODY except for a couple of people... I haven't bought it yet, and I don't want to get my hopes up over nothing. Maybe MSM isn't the answer to KP after all? So is there anyone else whose KP is completely gone because of the MSM because I don't think I am going to try it unless people have seen dramatic results. sorry if this is depressing, but i REALLY want to know. thanx. |

Hey Honey. i started takin 1000mg msm pills about a week ago and i've been takin 8000mg a day for the last few days. The major difference i've noticed so far is that the bumps and dots on the back of my shoulders that the sulfur soap could never get out, are almost gone already. My arms are still rough, but are getting smoother pretty quickly and the dots are very faded. so it's lookin pretty good so far. |

I've been using MSM on me and my daughter for months and we're both almost clear of kp. Her's was on her arms (no redness, loads of bumps, semi-dry skin) and a tad on her thighs (she's 4). I had it moderate to severe on my arms, bumps, redness, very dry and mild on my legs, no redness, and not dry. We use the MSM internally, MSM soap and soaks in the tub, MSM scrub and MSM lotion. MSM isn't a "Miracle" cure all, it still took work, but within 2 weeks we were seeing results we never saw with other "treatments" before. I purchased powdered MSM (Lignisul as they didn't carry the Opti when we first bought it) from www.msm-msm.com We got our lotion from them, but were unhappy with the Rich's brand. They started carrying one from anotehr company and we loved it so we went to the other companies website where we get the soap, soak, lotion and they custom made a scrub for us (It's a sugar scrub with MSM which is more gentle than a salt scrub for my little one. Loofas and Pumice were too much on her arms). |

I get my MSM powder from www.msm-msm.com (I personally use the Lignisul as they didn't carry the Opti when I started buying the powder) and I get my other MSM topical products from www.sssoaps.com |
