I agree w/ inspector gadget. I think the only way to get rid of bumps is to wait till they reach the surface of your skin. I was successful at preventing new bumps, but all my existing bumps are still present. They are getting smaller since I scrub in the shower twice a day, but it's taking a long, long time. Some days, they get bigger and some days, they are smaller, but that's due to inflammation of the bumps. They only get suddenly smaller when inflammation subsides, and even then, the bumps will always be there. So, yeah, sulfur can prevent keratin clumping, but it can't get rid of clumped keratin that's already stuck in your hair follicles. There really isn't anything to get rid of bumps except scrubbing daily, or even faster, burning your skin off.

Makes sense to me too. I have experienced the phenomenon of my bumps appearing smaller or "gone" on some days and then there again the next day. But, I think this is due to the fact that when my skin gets very dry, the ashiness hides the redness and bumps and then when my skin is very plump with moisture (for ex. after I wake up) it also appears smoother. I don't think bumps come and go as quickly as they might seem too. Just my two cents.
