I don't have very bad KP on my arms, and I can only remember one reaction to it when I was in high school. Some guy that sat behind me said kind of loudly "what is wrong with your arms?! It looks like a rash!" At that time I didn't know it was KP, so I said it was a rash and did not act hurt at all. It didn't bug me that much anyway, because that guy was a big mouth anyway and no one ever payed much attention to what he said anyway
