Have you thought about wearing a chiffon or silk scarf/wrap around your arms with the dress? It can help with first arriving, feeling nervous etc. and you can take it off later when you feel more at ease. Hope you have a really good time and don't forget, we probably notice it much more than others.

You could use a bit of powder-based foundation or even just pressed powder over a green toned concealer. I did that for my wedding and it toned down the redness pretty nicely. It also didn't look like I had makeup on my arms.
