KP worse after birth of daughter

My daughter was born 14 weeks ago and around 2-3 weeks after the birth my KP seemed to get really bad - spread to thighs and back which it has not done before. Wondered whether any one else had the same experience - whether it is hormonal changes?

It seems to be getting better now

I think KP is affected by hormone changes. I have a light case of kp but I get more spots on my arms around my cycle plus after I gave birth (and while pregnant) I had lots more than usual.

My little boy will be a year this month and my KP spread to my thighs and some on my lower legs, where I had never had any bumps before. Also, the bumps on the backs of my arms got worse. They still haven't gotten better after a year. I'm still breastfeeding and not having a period, so I don't know if that could have anything to do with it?! Anyway, you said yours was getting better. yes that happened to me as well. after about 7-8 months it started to subside. my kp is worse than before i was pregnant but much better than it was right after. now i am on the sulfur/sa soap, oxy, lubriderm, etc routine (when i remember) - i am afraid i am not all that consistant. i tend to slack off when the weather cools down (but tomorrow it is suppoed to be 80 degrees! oops!)
