Sulpher soap & sterling silver jewelery!!!
F.Y.I...... The night I started using my sulpher soap, my sterling silver rings that I have had for years, and never take off, turned this tarnished looking color. I tried cleaning them with jewelery cleaner but they are pretty much ruined. Thank goodness it's not gold - but still - it kind of bummed me out. Anyway, you might want to take off any jewelery if you're using the sulpher soap just in case. |

try getting some of the silver cleaner that stores like Bed Bath and Beyond have to clean silver platters, silverware, etc. The ss in your rings are probably just having a chemical reaction to the sulfur. The same thing will happen if you ever go into a mineral bath. i can't promise you anything, but it won't hurt to try to save your rings! |

Thank you both for replying. I am going to try the vinegar and water thing first since I have both. Chloe, can you tell me what alfoil is? I have never heard of that. Anyway, I'm glad to know that my rings can be saved! Thanks again... |
