F.Y.I......

The night I started using my sulpher soap, my sterling silver rings that I have had for years, and never take off, turned this tarnished looking color. I tried cleaning them with jewelery cleaner but they are pretty much ruined. Thank goodness it's not gold - but still - it kind of bummed me out. Anyway, you might want to take off any jewelery if you're using the sulpher soap just in case.

try getting some of the silver cleaner that stores like Bed Bath and Beyond have to clean silver platters, silverware, etc. The ss in your rings are probably just having a chemical reaction to the sulfur. The same thing will happen if you ever go into a mineral bath. i can't promise you anything, but it won't hurt to try to save your rings!

Thank you both for replying. I am going to try the vinegar and water thing first since I have both. Chloe, can you tell me what alfoil is? I have never heard of that. Anyway, I'm glad to know that my rings can be saved! Thanks again...
